It begins with a single mark on paper. Through projects like "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" and vital partnerships with organizations such as Vickery Trading Company, we work with those who have been impacted by forced migration, using the simple, profound tools of art and story to navigate the complexities of displacement and healing. In the lines they draw and the stories they share, we witness more than just personal expression; we see the emergence of patterns. These are the patterns of emotional shifts, of cultural symbols taking new form, of internal worlds transforming.

As we listen and observe, a deeper question arises. What if the fundamental patterns that support healing in a human being could inform how we stabilize other complex systems?

This is not just a metaphor. Recently, scientists discovered that the turbulent, beautiful swirls in Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night" bear a striking resemblance to the vortices that form in quantum fluids—a hidden, fundamental dance of the universe. It's a powerful reminder that the patterns of chaos and coherence are woven into the fabric of reality, from the vastness of space to the intimacy of a single drawing.

It's this recent innovative spark that is now lighting our way guiding our work. We follow the art, and the questions, to see where they lead.

From developing clinical frameworks to launching new pilot programs, our work is centered on building and strengthening mental health support systems. MOBI's mission within consulting is to deliver tangible, scalable mental health solutions. We develop versatile clinical frameworks, launch pilot programs that integrate mental health support directly into vocational training for refugee women, and partner with organizations to design sustainable, trauma-informed programming. We also shape the next generation of clinicians through our practicum supervision at the University of Texas at Arlington, embedding practical, nuanced clinical approaches into their training.

From clinical care to quantum theory, from a therapeutic session to a shared community space, we believe the principles of connection, healing, and resilience are universal. We invite you to explore our work and join us in discovering the profound, often surprising, connections between clinical work, art, and the quantum world. This is where the mobi 1 project begins.

What if those most impacted by forced migration hold the key to advances in technology—qubit stabilization, emergent intelligence, and systems capable of reorganizing under pressure? Could the symbolic visual sequences they create reflect forms of coherence that resonate with quantum computing and complex adaptive systems?

If classical systems collapse under complexity,
maybe it’s time we learn from the ones who’ve lived through it.
Who’ve held complexity in their bodies—
And the force of fragmentation, in exile, in silence—
Without being shattered—

They might just hold the coordinates for what comes next...

Stabilizing Complexity Symbolic Coherence in Post-Migration Art and Its Relevance to AI, Quantum Modeling, and Systems Integration

In an era of compounding instability—human, technological, and ecological—this white paper explores a surprising source of systems insight: the artwork of individuals navigating forced migration. Through the Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow (YTT) intervention, survivors visually map their journey from fragmentation to coherence. This paper proposes that these symbolic transitions offer not only a therapeutic record, but a pattern-based language of resilience that holds relevance for AI, quantum computing, and complex system design.

Moving out beyond imagination

MOBi Consulting designs and implements scalable mental health programs for newcomers affected by forced migration, offering solutions from direct service delivery to high-level technical advising. We support NGOs, nonprofits, and international organizations in building sustainable, trauma informed mental health initiatives—even in low—resource settings without existing programming. Whether developing clinical interventions, integrating mental health and case management into vocational and community programs, or guiding large-scale policy and system design, MOBi equips organizations to meet the growing need of post-migration mental health support.

Design

Trainings are designed to connect and equip practicum students, clinicians, program leadership, and community-based mental health providers with practical knowledge and tools for working with individuals and families affected by forced migration, especially in today’s shifting landscape of immigration policy, refugee services, and social safety nets in Texas and beyond.

Previous Title Sample: Carving Out Space for Human Connection: Designing Mental Health Programs and Clinical Care for Individuals Impacted by Forced Migration

Lecture training sessions can be adapted to various formats, highly tailored, and built to meet the needs of today’s frontline providers. Whether virtual or in person, these workshops are designed to bring practical insight and meaningful engagement to teams navigating post-migration care, policy shifts, and systems-level burnout. Sessions include field-based clinical tools, story-rich case examples, and a touch of creative whimsy. I often thread the presentation with AI-generated black-and-white astronaut imagery—surreal, reflective visuals that invite participants to look at old problems from new perspectives. Whether it’s a moon mural blooming with flowers or an astronaut holding a balloon, each image is placed with intention to deepen connection, spark reflection, and present the material in a meaningful way. Kristina also leads trainings focused on perinatal mental health and refugee communities.

"The MOBI team assisted in the interviewing and selecting of two clinical staff, who are highly qualified and are providing amazing services to clients. I have utilized structures developed by MOBI including development of an internship program, high risk protocols, and client documents and forms, which they have vetted and utilized in their own program. This has saved me countless time and avoided delays in program implementation. The MOBI team developed training materials for future staff onboarding, which will create continuity of training. Chaundra and Kristina were such a joy to work with and I'm hopeful we can utilize their services and expertise in the future"
